Oh, I Wish I Were an Oscar Meyer Weiner.....

Well, a trip to South Bend this past weekend produced a few things of note:
  1. Me getting really sick thanks to a solid combination of a.) a crappy cycle of anti-biotics b.) 3 hours of sleep after a night of drinking and c.) an early flight from Newark to Chicago.
  2. Me taking the graduation photo I forgot to take 3 years ago. (See below) And...
  3. Perhaps the most exciting of the three, a sighting of the Oscar Meyer Weiner-mobile on Route 80 heading from Chicago to South Bend. An unquestionable moment of zen.

Watering the Plants

As my parents are about to put our place here at 315 on the market in the near future, we've recently done some work on the terrace to spruce the place up some. The terrace is clearly the main selling point, so it makes sense for it to look nice.

One problem. Someone needs to water the flowers, trees, etc.

Given that I'm the only one living here right now, I've naturally taken on the task, which takes anywhere from 30-45 minutes, due to the amount of flowers and trees we've got out there right now. I have yet to talk to the plants while watering them, as my grandfather did, but if some of them don't start perking up soon, I might have to start.

Hopefully the time invested will help get the place off the market more quickly.

Classic Banana Republic Tees

Today before a meeting on Spring Street, I stopped into Banana Republic to burn some time.

What I came across was absolutely tremendous.

It turns out Banana has dusted off their old 5.25" floppy disks and resurrected the artwork for their old safari animal tees.

Star on the pocket in front, your favorite safari animal on the back (I got a lion and a rhino).

And they are currently on sale. Kick. Ass.
